The Little Car Company Ferrari Testa Rossa J review
Buying
What should I be paying?
With a limited run of just 299 Testa Rossa Js set to be built, it’s highly likely that they’ll all be sold out by the time you’re reading this. Sorry.
Each one will start at €93,000, and there’s a proper online configurator where you can choose from 14 historic racing liveries or 53 bodywork colours, plus 15 different interior trim colours. Authentic Borrani wire wheels will also be a costly box to tick.
TLCC CEO Ben Hedley tells us that an optional ‘Race Pack’ is also planned. That could bring a proper roll cage, drilled brake discs, the aforementioned brake bias adjuster and perhaps even a limited-slip diff. Imagine a grid of these all lined up on the start line with fully-grown racing drivers at the wheel. There’s something we’d love to see.
Hedley also mentions that most buyers who actually want to drive their Little Cars buy a couple of spare battery packs. That way they can have fully charged spares waiting to go, and it takes all of 30 seconds to swap the flat ones out with a single spanner. If you’ve already got one on order and haven’t gone for the spare batteries, that would be our one piece of advice. You won’t want to wait four hours for a full recharge when you’re having this much fun, especially if you’ve got yourself on track for a day.
