Buying

What should I be paying?

Lease deals will be critical to the i20N's success. The Fiesta ST is ubiquitous, meaning Ford can hand out deals for around £250 per month over three years on the range-topping ST3 version. In order to compete, Hyundai dealers are going to have to come close to that. Rise too high and cars such as the Toyota GR Yaris start to come under the microscope at around £300 per month. For guidance Hyundai’s lease deals tend to have an APR of around 4.6 per cent, meaning an i30N that lists at £30,000 is about £380 a month. The i20N is going to have to work hard to beat the Fiesta on value alone.

It will be an affordable car to run – insurance allowing. In day-today running we’d bet on around 35-38mpg.
