Buying
What should I be paying?
You’re looking at a starting figure of £17,790, which gets you into the 1.2-litre petrol. The hybrid, when it arrives later this year, will start from £19,590. And the full electric one starts from £21,990, to give you some reference.
And there’s few better value rivals out there. Sure, the cheap as chips MG 3 will set you back around £15k, but it trumps pretty much all else including the Mazda 2, Renault Clio, Toyota Yaris, and Suzuki Swift. Told you it was cheap…
What's on the kit list?
Two trim options are available, with the petrol only available in Plus trim, and the hybrid (when it gets here) additionally available in Max trim.
As standard, every version gets 17-inch alloy wheels, black wheel arches, two-tone paint, roof rails, electric heated and folding door mirrors, head-up display, advanced comfort seats, advanced comfort suspension, 10.25-inch colour touchscreen with smartphone mirroring, rear parking sensors and cruise control.
Range-topping Max versions additionally get front fog lights, LED rear lights, heated front seats, steering wheel and windscreen, rear privacy glass, Citroen Connected Navigation, wireless charging, and a rear camera.
Standard colour is light blue, white is an extra £275, black, grey and metallic blue are £595, and metallic red is £695. We’re not saying we’ll ban you from this website if you get it in white, black or grey, but…
What's the best spec?
We reckon Plus trim with heated front seats, steering wheel and windscreen (which you’ll appreciate in winter, particularly as it’ll help the range go further as you won’t need the heater), plus the wireless charger, is peak C3.
