You can have the final Dodge Demon for free...
...if you're the winning bidder for the final Dodge Viper, too. Auctions get no lairier
The Dodge Viper has ceased production. If you’re anything like us, you’ll have expected the final one to be squirreled away in one of Dodge’s museums. Or bought by this quite frankly Viper-mad couple.
Indeed, it was destined for Dodge’s heritage collection. But there’s been a tremendously kind change of heart, and it’s now being auctioned for charity. Aww.
And here’s the best bit: submit the highest, winning bid for the Viper – painted in the same Viper Red that launched the car 26 years ago – and you’ll also get an extra little treat. The last of the production Dodge Demons, a Challenger SRT Demon with the crucial one-dollar Demon crate, which sets you up for the drag strip, is included in the lot.
Yep, it’s two cars for the price of one. Whatever that price may be. Each one will come with a unique plaque and a bespoke car cover, to mark their specialness. Just in case you were worried, the Demon also comes in Viper Red, so it’ll be a matching pair, too.
They’ll be auctioned by Barrett-Jackson in Connecticut in June, but you’ll need to register here if you want your furious arm waving or subtle nods to count for anything on the day. Win, and you go home with a combined 1,485bhp and a real conundrum next time you need something fast, loud and red to call upon…
