This Bentley Mulliner kids’ trike costs £595 and has replica Flying Spur wheels
“Xavier, Arabella, come quickly! Mummy and Daddy have bought you some new wheels”
Bentley has announced a new model, and we must rejoice because it is not an SUV. In fact, it’s not a car at all – it’s a near £600 kids' tricycle inspired by the firm’s uber posh Mulliner cars.
We’re not joking. The Mulliner Tricycle will look great outside those private school gates and can be adapted to work for kids aged from six months to upwards of five years.
There are plenty of links to mummy and daddy’s real-life Bentley too. The rotating and reclining seat gets Mulliner's diamond-in-diamond quilting pattern for extra comfort and there’s a Bentley badge stitched into the headrest.
The wheels are a perfect match for those on the Flying Spur Mulliner too and even feature floating centre caps so that little Tarquin doesn’t accidentally leave this thing parked with the badge facing towards the ground. Now that would be embarrassing in the playground.
And for when Gwendoline grows out of being pushed and wants to drive herself, there are metal pedals that perfectly replicate the pedals in a Mulliner-spec Bentley. Even the colour – White Sand – is a shade that you can spec on Bentley’s cars. Should match the family Bentayga that’s kept at the ski chalet perfectly…
