What would you rather have: this watch or a Ferrari Roma?
Newly refreshed LM Perpetual EVO watch costs as much as the prettiest Ferrari on sale. We know which we would have
Watch brand MB&F has facelifted its LM Perpetual EVO, and the resulting timepiece will set you back around £180,000.
Need a moment to catch your breath? We did too. Of course, the EVO is a rather special watch with a 44mm titanium case and a “monobloc shock-absorbing system” that apparently makes it impressively resistant to bumps. There’s a domed sapphire crystal on top too and a fancy perpetual calendar system that uses a mechanical processor to reliably tell you the correct date.
The new look introduces a blue dial-plate and a white rubber strap, and the EVO is still rated for 80m of water resistance. And yet, as nice as it is we might just want to spend that kind of money elsewhere. Perhaps on a new Ferrari Roma (£175,000 ish) or an Aston Martin DB12 (£185,000)? Just a thought.
Heck, there might be fewer moving parts in the Aston, but for the cash we think something with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and 671bhp might just pip a wristwatch…
