This limited edition Alpine watch from H. Moser & Cie is quite something

Want a very bright, very fancy timepiece? That’ll be £78,000 to secure one of the 20 build slots

Published: 14 May 2024

With Alpine debuting its fancy new hydrogen-powered Alpenglow racer last week, how about a skeletonised hot pink watch to match?

It’s presented by H. Moser & Cie as the second model in its limited edition Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillion Skeleton Alpine range (catchy name), with the first finished in Alpine’s traditional blue hue. This one is pink to match Alpine's second livery in F1, which comes courtesy of Austrian sponsor BWT.

We're told that the watch's steel case encompasses a pink cylindrical hairspring and we can see that it's attached to an even pinker rubber strap.  Further details include a gold oscillating weight and blue clock arms, which are then complemented by an anthracite-finished frame. The detailing is pretty cool, no?

Technical specs include a 74-hour power reserve and a water pressure threshold of 12 ATM, which… should be enough.

You can place your interest now if you’ve got around £78,000 lying around, but you’d better be quick since H. Moser & Cie will only be crafting 20 of these timepieces.
