Wallpapers: gold mining in a Bentley Bentayga
Spruce up your desktop with the world’s most luxurious SUV getting dirty in the desert
Bentley’s Bentayga is the world’s most luxurious SUV. With 600bhp, a 187mph top speed and the possibility of speccing a glitzy picnic set or Breitling Tourbillon dash clock, it’s also quite expensive. £160k (for starters) kind of expensive.
But things can get a lot, lot more pricier with a few choice ticks of the options list. Fancy that posh Tourbillon in the dash? That’s £120,000. On its own.
Knowing only a few pennies currently reside in the Top Gear piggy bank, we headed to California for an old school cash injection to see if we could afford one ourselves: gold mining.
It’d also be the perfect place to wind out Bentley’s 6.0-litre W12 (with twin-scroll turbos plus high and low pressure direct fuel injection) and use all 600bhp and 663lb ft of torque on Cali’s rutted, twisted and pockmarked desert.

When you’re done, come back and treat yourself to some snaps from the gallery above to freshen up your desktop.
All you have to do is click the full screen/make-it-big icon in the bottom-right of the gallery above, scroll through the picture that takes your fancy and then save the super hi-res image.
