The Volkswagen Touareg features a stunning 15-inch infotainment screen
The Volkswagen Touareg R-Line Tech has a 15-inch touchscreen at the heart of its premium interior. We’ll say it again for those at the back – the Touareg, with its modern and minimalist Innovision Cockpit and Active Info Display, features a gorgeous 15-inch glass screen that’s absolutely packed to the rafters with clever features. And, whisper it, the critically acclaimed infotainment system is also available as standard on the lower-priced SEL Tech model.
Those aforementioned features include Volkswagen’s Connected Navigation. The 3D city model display makes directions as clear as day, and you’ll always be on the best possible route thanks to the self-learning, online navigation. Then there’s Hybrid radio – which combines terrestrial, DAB and Internet radio to constantly search for the best reception, meaning you’ll be able to listen to crisp audio no matter where you end up exploring.
With 4Zone climate control, Volkswagen’s online service We Connect and control over the Touareg’s driving modes also integrated into the 15-inch Discover Premium infotainment system, you’ll have all the features you could ever need right at your fingertips.
Plus, the display is fully compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and with Volkswagen Media Control passengers can remotely control the system via any smartphone or tablet.
But wait, that’s not all, because the Innovision Cockpit in the Touareg also includes a stunning, fully customisable 12-inch digital instrument display that flows seamlessly into its 15-inch neighbour.
Not only will this provide the driver with all the necessary vehicle information, but the display can also include audio, navigation and telephone details, as well as connecting to optional 360-degree cameras and even an optional night vision thermal imaging camera* to keep you safe in the dark.
