Video: is this the most dangerous hill in Russia?
This steep, slippery slope has been causing quite a few pile-ups
Russia. A perpetual provider of chuckle-worthy CCTV and dash-cam footage. Over the years, we’ve seen everything from cows copulating, to people seemingly driving through the gates of Hell, policemen clinging on car bonnets mid getaway, and even cars getting struck by lightning.
But the clip above is literally a perfect storm of events. It took place in the city of Penza, western Russia, where a steep, snowy hill and gravity joined forces to cause havoc for helpless motorists trying their best to plough on through the adverse conditions.
Fortunately, for the greater good of the internet, a well-placed CCTV camera caught all the carnage on what the locals dub ‘Bewitched Mountain’. So, if you’re into watching a man chase his own car down a hill, inadvertent snowy J-turns and the horrifying reality of tractionless cars completely out of control, check it out for yourself above.
