Ferrari causes Nissan GT-R road crash

Internet, may we present to you a timely reminder that racing on public roads is not big, not clever, and not likely to end with your body panels or dignity intact.

Need proof? Watch this dashcam video from Taiwan, showing a 458 apparently road-racing a Nissan GT-R. As you'll see, after splitting the camera car, the Ferrari driver moves across into the path of the GT-R, which is forced to brake and swerve onto the dusty central reservation.

The Nissan driver loses control and taps a nearby car, sending it into a (well recovered) spin. The Ferrari, meanwhile, swans off into the middle distance.

Local papers reported that no injuries were sustained. Apart from the pride and bank balance of the GT-R owner, of course...
