Fast and Furious 7: the first trailer

Published: 03 Nov 2014

No Fast and Furious film would be complete without a laughably implausible, physics-defying piece of madness, and the new one does not dissappoint. Ladies and gentlemen, may we present the very first official trailer for Fast and Furious 7. And right on cue, we're presented with the team - including the late Paul Walker - parachuting out of a cargo plane and straight into a rescue involving a truck with side-mounted chain guns. Yep, it's a FF movie alright.

Click the handy arrow above, and allow Dominic Toretto himself, Vin Diesel, to present it for you lucky TopGear.commers.

This opening stunt also provides ample reason why we're always banging on about big rear wings here at TG, too, so keep your eyes peeled.

The plot, as ever, involves lots of shooting, lots of jumping, and of course, perpendicular vehicular mayhem not seen on this scale since the TG telly chaps last played car football. It's got something to do with the FF film based in London, meaning Blighty's own Jason Statham makes an appearance, alongside man mountain Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. The dialogue, as ever, promises to be amazing.

And, of course, this is the final appearance of Paul Walker on screen in the series he did so much to create, the star having tragically passed away before FF7 was completed last year.

The film is set to be released on 3 April 2015. Can you name all the cars in the clip?
