Just when we thought we’d exhausted all talk of a billionaire’s electric pickup truck, another one casually slides into the chat.
Only this one (backed by Amazon’s own Jeff Bezos) has no fancy party tricks or out-there promises. Rather, Slate Auto plans to offer a cheap, simple EV with manual winding windows and plastic body panels for day-to-day workhorse duties.
