Six of the best used supercars from the 2010s we found for sale

Reminisce on the finest decade of fast motoring with these giants

Ferrari 458 Speciale
  1. Ferrari 458 Italia

To be honest we could have filled this entire list with Ferrari 458 Italias. One of the best mid-engined Ferraris ever built, boasting a supernaturally brilliant chassis and V8 engine. Sublime thing. They’ve properly kept their value, with decent ones kicking off at around £110k. Get one in red, and enjoy the rest of your life.

    Here's a Ferrari-approved one.

  2. Ferrari 458 Speciale

Last one, promise. Indeed, the special one certainly felt like the ‘last’. “The 458 Speciale, like it or not, is an end-of-an-era Ferrari,” reported TG’s Jason Barlow upon sampling this firecracker. And the used values reflect this once-in-a-generation talent, because they all start from around £300k.

    Here’s a nice yellow one from 2014.

  3. McLaren 12C

    McLaren 12C

But what if the Ferrari 458 is just a little too… Ferrari? Bag yourself its sparring partner, and McLaren Automotive’s sub-zero re-entry into the world of fast road cars. The twin-turbo V8’s not as emotional nor highly strung as the 458’s, but good god is this a well-sorted, enormously fast car.

Here’s a nice one in red.

  4. Audi R8

    Audi R8

OK, so the R8 was actually born in the Noughties, not the… whatever awkward nickname the 2010s get, but it really came of age in its second-generation which landed bang in the middle of… whatever awkward nickname the 2010s get. Massive, spine-tingling V10, assured chassis, tank-like interior and daily usability. Lovely.

    Here’s a nice 2017 V10 Audi R8.

  5. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

    Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

Hate tyres? Conventional doors? Peace and quiet? The SLS is here to save your life in all the best ways. Rowdy. Fast. Lairy as heck. It packs a 6.2-litre naturally-aspirated V8 from the days when AMG made exceptional V8s, squeezed inside a gullwing-doored superthing that looks so, so frickin’ cool.

Here, get yourself a ‘proper’ AMG supercar.

  6. Lamborghini Huracán Performante

    Lamborghini Huracán Performante

In comes the Lambo to crash the 458, 12C and R8’s party. The oora-can was the replacement for the best-selling Gallardo, became a best-seller itself, and in this iteration – complete with that fancy ALA active aero setup – morphed into the best version of itself. A spectacular V10 supercar.

Here’s the most Lambo-spec Lambo Huracan Performante we could find.
