Fancy a Ferrari Daytona SP3? Here’s one signed by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz
Now we just need to figure out how to source the *£4.61m* it costs
What’s more special than a Ferrari? A Ferrari from the ultra-rare ‘Icona’ series, obviously. Take this Daytona SP3 for instance, which has covered less than 400 miles and is currently up for sale at Dubai-based F1rst Motors. It’s one of just 599 examples ever made and sports a one-of-one ‘BP Green’ finish. And that’s not all.
Lift the engine cover up and you’ll spot the signatures of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz etched atop its 828bhp 6.5-litre V12. Usurped in the power stakes by the Le Mans-spec F80, the SP3's numbers can still hit really hard: it gets from 0-62mph in 2.8s on its way to 211mph flat out. And since this is a properly old-school, unassisted V12, it sings a fine song. Right up to 9,500rpm.
Let's face it: those admittedly impressive numbers are somewhat overshadowed by the SP3’s stunning design. Those sharp headlights and bulges across its flanks are pure theatre. And the wafer-thin, outstretched lines used to form the rear? Yeah, this thing looks like it belongs in a Star Wars movie.
It’s estimated to fetch around 21 million AED (£4.61 million) when it does eventually sell in a galaxy... actually pretty close to home.
