The Youabian Puma is for sale. For, um, £615,000...
"Exotic monster truck" on sale for nearly £250k more than a Merc 6x6. Form a queue
Remember the Youabian Puma? Of course you do – its inimitable form was forever ingrained in our minds when it was first revealed at the LA Motor Show in 2013. Reports it blinded several showgoers remain unconfirmed.
We jest. Conceived and designed by Dr. Youabian, an LA cosmetic surgeon, the Puma is a fiberglass-bodied, V8-powered “exotic monster truck” (their words) with some 505bhp. It’s longer than a Rolls Royce Phantom and not much narrower than a London bus. See those tiny-looking alloys? Yeah, those are 20s.
And now, you can be “one of the very few select individuals” to own one of these behemoths. The price? Just $895,000, or almost £615,000.
That’s enough to buy the Diablo GT we showed you yesterday, with enough left over for a generously specified Porsche Cayman GT4. Or eight and a bit Range Rovers. Or most of a 918 Spyder...
Sounds like a bit much for something with a suspiciously Volvo C70-like interior, no?
