Watch a Challenger SRT8 tow a rollerblader at 125mph

Published: 08 Oct 2014

Fans of second-rate Sega Mega Drive games may be familiar with the 1993 hit Skitchin'.

The premise of the game was to guide a rollerblader through a 16-bit paradise by clinging on to car bumpers. While fighting off baddies, naturally, and avoiding a crashy pixelated death.

Today, we've found a fan who's taken it a bit too seriously and done it in real oh-lord-this-could-go-really-wrong life.

With the help of the 593 bhp Dodge Challenger SRT8, the fearless fruitbooter grabs hold of the muscle car's bumper and says a little prayer, before he and his giant cherries are towed down a runway at the Meinerzhagen airfield in Germany at 125mph.

Marty McFly would be proud of such an achievement. But seriously, don't try this at home, kids. Instead, crawl into the attic, locate your Sega Mega Drive, blow the dust from your Skitchin' cartridge and do some bumper blading from the safe distance of your sofa.
