Watch: bikes and buggies go mad on the dunes

It’s called Doonies 2, and if you can get past the teenage spelling and casual misogyny (leather shorts in the desert really aren’t practical, people), you’ll find some of the best off-road riding and driving in the ‘xtreme’ business.

Featuring loads of big names in MotoX – from Jeremy McGrath, Tyler Bereman and Axell Hodges to Jeremy ‘Twitch’ Stenberg – this is serious tailwhipping dune hopping. And big, big air. Anti-gravity hangtime.  

Filmed at Glamis Dunes in California (a dedicated off-road area TG visited with the brilliant ICON Bronco a while back), the Monster Energy-sponsored video also includes TG favourite BJ Baldwin and his Trophy Truck (driven here), Kyle Leduc and Steven Eugenio. Eugenio’s huck-to-flat at 2m 34s particularly is worth rewinding a couple of times, if only to watch the ridiculous suspension compression when he lands.

There’s even a guy called Cory Davis who turns up to session a snowmobile. Which sounds odd, but obviously works.  

But most of all, it looks like very seriously shot, silly fun. Who wouldn’t fancy a go?
