Ford Mustang news - Silver Bullitt - 2009

Back in 1964, lots of important things happened on planet Earth. The Stones released their debut album, BBC2 started broadcasting (we all know what that led to), Ali was world heavyweight champ and Ford built the Mustang.
 
The man behind it, 'The Father of the Mustang', was a bloke called Lee Iacocca. Now, 45 years later he's given us a special Silver Edition of the latest ’Stang. It has been styled by the Gaffoglio family of metal crafters over in the States, who we believe will also build you a decent gate.
 
They did a pretty good job of sharpening the car's curves, going for a sleek coachbuilt vibe rather than screwing on a maxi-muscle yank bodykit. Iacocca will, of course, still offer you racier suspension and beefy engine upgrades.
 
Just 45 of the cars will be made - one for each year the Mustang has existed - at a price of $89,950, which ain't bad for a slinky, specially restyled masterpiece.
