The UK’s first female-focused car show was held in Hemel Hempstead last week.‘Garage Girls’ was set up in 2020 by Charlotte York with the aim of creating an “unjudgmental” space for females and their cars, and the group’s latest event saw hundreds of car enthusiasts gather at the Drift Limits circuit.

As well as a roster of fast machinery on display, showgoers also got the chance to drive or passenger in stuff like the Audi R8, Nissans GT-R and 350Z and Shelby GT500. “Between 15 to 20 different cars were available on the day, including a Lotus Evora and a 1,200 bhp R35 GTR. We even had a Fast and Furious Supra,” York told TG.
