This Gladiator 6x6 will be sold in Jeep dealers

The people behind the Rezvani Tank turn their hand to a 6x6 Jeep

Published: 22 Apr 2021

Behold the Jeep Gladiator 6x6. It’s the work of Next Level, a third-party company. But it’ll be sold at authorised Jeep dealers, starting in California.

If that’s not enough of an endorsement, then the people behind Next Level are also behind the Rezvani Tank (and Rezvani Hercules 6x6), so they have a stocky CV in oversized playthings.

The Gladiator’s big sell is its extra axle and new eight-foot bed. It has permanent four-wheel drive and on-demand six-wheel drive, with Fox suspension throughout. The wheels are 20in with 37in off-road tyres, and you’ve a choice of three engines: 270bhp 4cyl turbo and 285bhp V6 petrols and a 375bhp V6 diesel. The latter sounds most appealing given the extra mass you’re hauling around…

Prices are… well, almost as large as the car itself. The Gladiator 6x6 starts at $132,000, which is almost $100,000 more than an entry-level Gladiator 4x4.
