Some time ago, Top Gear held one its most useful, yet controversial consumer tests. What exactly was the fastest way to cross London? Car, bike, speed boat or public transport? 

On that occasion Hammond, astride a bicycle, won. This was clearly unsatisfactory, so for series 22 the boys have decided to run the race again, but in more suitable vehicles. Oh, and in the picturesque surroundings of St Petersburg in Russia...
