New Top Gear magazine out now: Joy Machines and 100 Greatest Concepts

In the latest issue of Top Gear magazine, it’s not about power, speed or expense... it’s about smiling.

We visit the TG Track with Rory Reid for the ultimate fun group test, featuring the Ariel Atom and Nomad, Audi R8 V10 Plus, Mazda MX-5, Dodge Challenger Hellcat, Volkswagen XL1, Porsche Cayman GT4, TG TV’s Rallycross Mini, and many others, including a fair few surprises.

Our group test sees a battle of the spiders, as the roadster versions of the Lamborghini Huracan, Ferrari 488 and McLaren 650S slug it out to see which is the ultimate drop-top supercar. Meanwhile, we've driven to Le Mans not just in the Ford GT, but the iconic GT40 which came 1-2-3 at Le Mans in 1966. That's one heck of a road trip.

We’ve also paid a visit to Italy to drive the Lamborghini Centenario, the company’s posthumous 100^th birthday present to its legendary founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini. We've met the team from Lego who get paid to make supercars from bricks, had our first look around the new Mercedes-AMG GT R and Porsche Panamera, and had the full insight into a day in the life of Mark Webber. Specifically, the day of the Le Mans 24 Hours…

As you’d expect, there are plenty of first drives, too. Highlights include the Abarth 124 Spider (and its more humble Fiat cousin), Mercedes-AMG C43 Cabrio, Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport S, Ford Fiesta ST200, Ferrari GTC4Lusso and Mini Cooper Cabrio, plus there’s a full numbers test of our Car of the Year, the Ford Focus RS.
