Top Gear mag Awards issue: on sale now!
It's the big one. Top Gear magazine's glitzy, glamorous Awards issue, in which we bring together the very finest metal of 2014 and - after much earnest discussion and a small amount of chair-throwing - declare our car of the year.
The nominations list is unprecedentedly strong. This issue sees us thrash a Ferrari 458 Aperta across Italy, tackle California in a Mercedes-AMG GT S, race a pair of Merc C-Class estates across Europe on just a single tank of fuel, and even blow up a Citroen C4 Cactus strictly in the name of research. And that's not to mention Richard Hammond and James May having a big fight over the Porsche 918 and LaFerrari, or special guest appearances from the BMW i8, Lambo Huracán, VW Golf R, Audi S1, Renault Twingo, Audi TT and a whole bunch more. But which will emerge wearing our coveted Car of the Year tiara? Only TG mag has the answer.
Of course, that's not all in this crammed-to-the-gunwales, year-end spectacular. This month's bumper edition comes with two free gifts. The first is our fantastic 2015 calendar, featuring a selection of this year's winners and some other incredible machines like the Bugatti Veyron GSV, Dodge Challenger ‘Hellcat' and Eagle Low Drag GT. The other is our Top Gear Tech supplement, which includes a world-exclusive drive in the first ever 3D-printed car and loads of other cool tech to blow your mind... (and perhaps your wallet this Christmas!)
We've also taken to the SEMA show floor to investigate the lurid, blingy world of modification, delved under the skin of the Shelby Mustang GT350, taken a muscle-car road trip with ageing rockers Mötley Crüe, and road-tested the stellar new Porsche 911 GTS. And there's your usual selection of wit/ranting from Jeremy, James and Richard, along with all the latest news and reviews.
