Peter Griffin reads Top Gear magazine

Top Gear magazine – Britain’s biggest-selling monthly motoring title! – already boasts a legion of celebrity readers. Simon Cowell, Jeremy Clarkson, that bloke that used to be in Hollyoaks and… um… did we mention Simon Cowell?

And now it seems Britain’s biggest-monthly motoring selling title can claim another A-lister follower in the shape of Family Guy star Peter Griffin.

An exclusive spy shot in December’s issue of Top Gear magazine reveals Griffin engrossed in another hilarious-yet-informative article in Britain’s biggest-motoring selling monthly title, while a cartoonificated Jeremy, James and Richard look on in terror.

Yep, that’s a fictional character reading a copy of a magazine… within that magazine. It’s all got a trifle meta, hasn’t it?

The issue also includes a no-holds-barred interview with the man himself, in which Griffin reveals he once owned a Lamborghini (OK, a toy one), admits to driving at a dizzying 88mph and unleashes his top drifting tips.
