New TG mag out now: the hot hatch lives!
The latest issue of Top Gear magazine is out now, and it features the future of the hot hatch…
Worried that hot hatches are a dying breed? Fear not, for a new generation is on the horizon, and in this month’s issue of Top Gear magazine we’ve got the full lowdown on the Renault 5-based Alpine A290, as well as the Mini Cooper SE and the Volkswagen ID. GTI. The future is bright, even if it’s not all that light…
The new mag is on sale now, and all you need to do is click these blue words to order a copy and have it delivered direct to your door. Or perhaps you’d like even more from TG? You can start a subscription today and get three issues for just £3, then pay just £19.99 for every six issues after that. Click here to take advantage.
It’s not all hot hatches this month, though. We’ve driven a couple of Volcano-climbing Porsche 911s (they’re as impressive as it sounds) and the final iteration of the Dodge Challenger, which comes complete with a fantastic back story. Oh, and Stig has taken a rather long trip in the new Toyota Prius, all with the goal of beating the record for the longest Uber ride ever taken in the UK.
There are a couple of imposter hot hatches in this issue too, with Japanese tuner Damd’s take on the Renault 5 Turbo and the Lancia Delta Integrale. Your challenge is to guess the car that they’re both based on before you read the full feature.
And just in case all of that wasn’t enough, we’ve also jumped out of a plane with one Lewis Hamilton… and lived to write the story. Grab your copy now.
