The Peugeot e-2008 is TG’s best crossover of the year

Should you find yourself in the market for a compact, electric crossover, you will discover your options are many and growing by the day. Such is the ferocity of demand in this sector that most manufacturers haven’t really bothered. They’ve dialled one in, because why put in the graft when it’s going to fly regardless?

Fortunately, there are exceptions. The fetching new Vauxhall Mokka-e is one, but out tip is the Peugeot e-2008. Yes it looks like a robot hamster, and the small steering wheel is a dodgy idea Peugeot can’t let go of, but there’s sparkle in the design – inside and out – the range and performance over-deliver and it feels futuristic without any Back to the Future Part II naffness.
