Buyers of the most extreme Lambo ever can now get a matching least extreme Lambo ever

Internet, say hello to the Lamborghini Urus Essenza SCV12 Special Edition, and now feel free to go and mock it in the comments below. 

Because yes, this is exactly what you think it is – an otherwise-standard Urus Performante painted in a livery to match the bonkers V12-engined Essenza SCV12 track car that we first saw back in 2020. Come on Lambo, if you’re only going to make 40 of them for the 40 buyers of the Essenza, why not stick a V12 in there? Or at least strip out the interior and go full track day spec with the Urus? That’s what the Lamborghini of old would have done. 

Instead, the Urus just gets that aforementioned ‘Ad Personam’ paint and plenty of exposed carbon fibre on the bonnet, roof and mirrors. There’s also gloss black 23-inch wheels and a black interior with much Alcantara and leather. There are two special plaques inside too – one that celebrates Lamborghini’s 60th birthday and one with the owner’s name. Oh, and the Essenza SCV12 logo is plastered onto the dashboard to remind you of the car you’d rather be driving.
