Yes, you do want this red-on-red Lexus LFA that’s for sale

Flicking through the catalogue of the upcoming RM Sotheby’s Arizona Sale (as you do), something very exciting caught our eye.

This is of course a Lexus LFA, which on its own could be considered exciting enough as Lexus only ever made 500 examples of the glorious, 4.8-litre V10-engined supercar. But there’s more to this particular car, because we’re told that it’s the only one to be finished in ‘Absolutely Red’ with a matching red leather interior.

We’d argue that it’s one of the best LFA specs we’ve seen, and even the shiny polished silver wheels are working for us. Yep, we’ll take it. Wonder if there’s a chance it’ll dip slightly below its £600,000 to £650,000 estimate? 

With fewer than 7,400 miles on the clock that’s probably unlikely, plus we’re told that this LFA – number 075 – has only ever been owned by Lexus dealer principals and has lived ‘a pampered life’. It also has the desirable ‘Speed-Sensing’ rear wing, and LFA prices have rightly been going bonkers recently. Still, one can dream, right?
