Some say he invented Betamax, and its subsequent failure is the reason why he never talks. All we know is there's a free Stig DVD with the latest issue of Top Gear magazine.

Also in the magazine this month, Jag's awesome new XFR supersaloon leads the BMW M5, Merc CLS AMG and Caddy CTS-V on an epic road trip from Las Vegas to San Francisco. That's a 1,500-mile blast, armed with 34 cylinders and more than 2000bhp, taking in a NASCAR meet, the Rat Pack's secret desert run, Pebble Beach, the Pacific Coast Highway and Laguna Seca. Oh, and a whole bunch of 1970s Trans-Am cars. Yeehaw, etc...

We also get a good look at Lamborghini's hardcore, lightweight Murcielago SV and Ferrari's track-only development weapon, the Enzo-hunting 599XX.
