Love the 991 gen Porsche 911? Here’s your chance to buy six GT versions in one go
Buy these six as-new Porsches and you’ll get the truck and trailer thrown in for free
We have a feeling this story will both delight and infuriate you, because at first glance it’s hard not to feel joy when looking at the images above. Heck, it’s a big truck transporting six different Porsche 911s, what’s not to like?
And not just any 911s, because all six of these cars are from the 991-generation, and all six are epic GT series cars. It gets even better too, because this whole collection is heading up for auction as one single lot. Yes, including the MAN TGX 18.640 truck and the Rolfo Auriga trailer. RM Sotheby’s hasn’t provided an estimate, but even though there’s no reserve we doubt it’s a chance to grab a bargain.
Here’s what might get your goat. All six of these cars are effectively brand-new having covered less than 126 miles in total. Drive your cars, people. Heck, even the 640bhp diesel truck only has around 300 miles on the clock.
The seller apparently bought all of these cars and the truck and trailer combo to fulfil a childhood dream, although clearly that dream was to just look at a life-sized version of his toy transporter.
The 991.2 GT3 Touring has covered the fewest miles, with less than 12 on the clock. It’s painted black with a black interior, and has optional carbon ceramic brakes, an extended leather interior, a 90-litre fuel tank, the Sport Chrono pack and 918 Spyder-style bucket seats.
The 991.2 GT3 is red with a black interior and also gets those bucket seats. That has been driven around 30 miles since its build in 2018, and comes complete with the Clubsport pack, ceramic brakes and no infotainment to save a few precious kilos.
There’s also a 2019 991.2 GT3 RS with the Weissach package, the Clubsport pack, a fire extinguisher, that 90-litre fuel tank and lightweight magnesium wheels. Full track spec then, but of course it has never seen a circuit in its life and has 17 miles on its clock.
The final road car is even more special. It’s the only 991.1 car of the lot and is a 911 R – the 698th of just 991 cars built. Painted white with red stripes, it gets the lightweight single mass flywheel option, carbon ceramic brakes, bucket seats with Pepita inserts and has been driven less than 30 miles. Sensing a theme here?
The final two cars are actual racers. The first is a 991.2 GT3 Cup with 20 miles on the clock, an engine lifetime reading of 0.0 hours and all of its protective film and tape for delivery still intact. Then you’ve also got a GT3 Cup R, which is also brand-new and has barely turned a wheel since it was first assembled. Won’t somebody please let the thing race?
