World domination is an everyday occurrence at Porsche, and here we have the firm's latest weapon, the 911 GT3.

Stripped of excess weight, the GT3 road racer is here to tempt 911 buyers who want something a little nippier for track days.

As well as a lower weight, the GT3 is equipped with a 415bhp version of the 911's 3.6-litre flat-six motor.

The headline figures are 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds and a 194mph top speed, while more telling is the 0-100mph time of just 8.7 seconds.

Inside, Porsche fits a GT3-only steering wheel and lightweight seats with racing harnesses.


The price of all this performance is £79,540.
