A new supercar: the Aspid Invictus GT-21
Meanwhile, in Gotham, Aspid has released this - the GT-21 Invictus. It sounds like a hedge fund, but it's actually a 450bhp rear-wheel-drive GT that'll get from 0-60mph in under three seconds, top out at 189mph and pull 1.6g on the skidpad.
Despite the hoofing great BMW-sourced 4.4-litre V8, Aspid's kept weight to a piffling 989.7kg by using a composite panels and a spaceframe chassis. And they claim that, despite the diminutive mass, there's accommodation for four actual humans as well as room for modest luggage.
Underneath, there's a set of clever pushrod dampers, all-aluminium double wishbones, adaptive airbags, stability control and anti-lock brakes.
And that readers, is all the info we have so far. The company hopes to have the Invictus ready for 2014, but there's no word on pricing either.
Still, sounds promising. Should the Spanish firm drop one on your doormat, where would you drive it?
