This SLS GT3 is AMG's 45th birthday present to ‘passionate performance enthusiasts and collectors'. Limited to only five units, said passionate performance enthusiasts also need to have a healthy bit of wedge in their back pocket to get one - £360k's worth to be precise.

But not all of us are mass industrialists or lottery winners, so we'll just have to make do with the video below.

We're not quite sure why Mercedes decided to put a soundtrack of what they apparently call ‘dubstep' over the top of the 6.2-litre V8 hand-fitted by five-times DTM champion Bernd Schneider and an AMG technician. That engine is pretty much a modern classic soundtrack in itself. Even so, it still hasn't made us want one any less...
