LaFerrari vs Ferrari Enzo: it’s on

Hypercars are as much about their dynamic polish as they are about sheer, outright drama. With that in mind, we'd like you now to stop whatever it is you're doing and take a few minutes to watch these videos.

It's footage of LaFerrari driving through some hills with a Ferrari Enzo in hot pursuit. Yes, that sentence just happened. The soundtrack? That'd be TheFerrari TheFerrari's manic 6.3-litre, 790bhp V12 (it's also got another 160bhp in the form of an electric motor, don't forget).

In fact, it has so much Fast, it'll reportedly do 0-62mph in under three seconds, hit 124mph in less than seven, sail on to 186mph in 15 seconds and top out at over 217mph.

It also has so much Noise that your face will make a few involuntary shapes throughout the duration of this video, because the LaFerrari sounds really, really good. Don't forget, Ferrari once told us "one of the main characteristics [of a Ferrari] is the sound of the engine".

The Enzo? That's no slouch, itself packing a 6.0-litre V12 with 660 horses, a 0-62mph time of 3.6 seconds, 0-400m time of 11 seconds, 0-1000m time of 19.6 seconds and a top speed of over 217mph. No slouch itself, then.

There's more video of the pair going head to head inside a tunnel - a tunnel, for heavens sake! - in a ‘rev battle'. If there's a better way of livening up a Monday afternoon, we've yet to see it.
