Koenigsegg Agera R BLT leaves for China

Published: 17 Sep 2012

But we thought all Koenigseggs were bespoke? Apparently not. Apparently, if you apply a BADGE that sounds like BACON, you can accommodate even more ridiculous colour schemes when you sell your hypercar.

This is the Agera R BLT (they won't tell us what it actually stands for), and it's been built for a customer in China. Notice the blue tint on the carbon and red pinstriping? That's a special feature chosen by the owner, as is the cross stitching on the seat.

Koenigsegg hasn't told us if power from the 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8's increased from its 1,140hp benchmark, but we're not quite sure how much quicker it could get. Non-bacon ‘Segs get from 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds and 0-186.4mph in 14.53, which means they're faster than a Bugatti Veyron.

It also hasn't let slip any information on costings, but we can't see it being cheap. Especially considering a normal Agera R costs more than £1m. Even more especially considering that it charges more than £7,000 for a painted Thule roof box...

Like this super-bespoke Koenigsegg, TopGear.commers?
