Skoda reveals vRS 2000 concept

Published: 03 Jun 2011

This is the Skoda Fabia vRS 2000, and it wants to chop your head off.

Not literally of course, but such will be the outcome should you ever drive it slightly angry. Unveiled at the 30th Worthersee meet in Austria, this one-off concept car features four seats and no roof.

Details are as scarce as common sense on The Apprentice, but we're told it's based on the Fabia Super 2000 rally car, which could mean a 2.0-litre four-pot, four-wheel-drive and around 270bhp.

Skoda's design aims were to make a concept with ‘dynamism and the joy of sporty driving'. Fine if you're the driver, not-so-fine if you're one of the three occupants enjoying a whole heap of fresh air. Sideways.

Elsewhere on Skoda's Worthersee stand sits the Fabia Monte Carlo, vRS and Super 200 rally car. More pics to follow so stay tuned...
