Sam Burnett
Sam is one of the sub-editors on TopGear magazine, ensuring that some mistakes are caught before going to print. He studied German in North Wales, which helps him spy on premium carmakers, and completed the automotive journalism masters degree at Coventry University on his first try. He’s worked in journalism and PR for over a decade, mostly doing quite boring things.
An accomplished driver, he and Michael Schumacher have a very impressive 91 F1 wins and seven championship titles between them, but no one knows the Coventry ring road like Sam does. After a string of sub-par secondhand car purchases his wife has made him drive an electric car for the last five years or so. In his spare time Sam enjoys eating chips and complaining to the manager.
