  • Jeremy likes South Africa. Especially Durban. Just check out his Twitter feed. So it won't come as a huge surprise that this weekend's Top Gear Festival, held in the very same South African city, was something of a success.

Not only was there a whole round of Bridgestone's Production Car championship on our very own street circuit, TGF hosted freestyle motorcrossers having a fight with physics, a mildly terrifying car bungee contraption, some insane, tyre-melting drifters, Mika Hakkinen, and The Stig in an RB7 F1 car.

The boys were, of course, out for the duration with their latest, all-new extravaganza. As you can imagine, there was much petrosexual ridiculousness, including side-car polo, limbo motorbike jumping, and many explosions. All in front of tens of thousands of Top Gearists.

Miffed you missed it? Worry not, TopGear.commers. Click through and check out the best pics from the festival.
