These aftermarket carbon bits can make your E46 BMW M3 look like a CSL

Tuner Vorsteiner has unveiled a new set of V-CSL parts for those that want the look without the lightweighting

Published: 28 Nov 2023

The E46 BMW M3 CSL is rightly a bit of a TG hero car, and it’d be fair to say we felt a little let down in 2022 when the badge was brought back for the lardy rather than lightweight M4 CSL.

And yet, we’re struggling to make up our minds on this – tuner Vorsteiner’s new V-CSL ‘carbon fibre programme’ which can make any E46 M3 look like a CSL.

On the one hand the new front bumper, the aero-spec bootlid with its integrated lip spoiler, the rear diffuser and the carbon centre console do not make this a proper CSL.

On the other hand, the bits do look very cool indeed. Plus, you could combine them with a manual E46. Ooft.

Anyway, thoughts in the comments section below please. Vorsteiner says the V-CSL package has been designed to celebrate its 20th anniversary, and there will apparently be 103 units available to celebrate the horsepower per litre of the E46 CSL.

Each piece is built in California, with the full set available for $7,580 (around £6,000).
