Paul Walker’s BMW M1 is up for sale
Complete with a Procar-style bodykit, 350bhp and just 4,200 miles on the clock
The late Paul Walker had a ridiculously impressive collection of cars. Over the past couple of years we’ve seen a number of them change hands on the interweb, but this might just be the best one yet…
Yep, this brilliant M1 was owned by Walker and Roger Rodas before they died in 2013, and it’s now listed on the US auction site Bring A Trailer.
Glorious looking thing isn’t it? This particular M1 was first delivered to BMW Schneider in Germany, before being modified in the early Eighties. The so-called Studie package was applied by BMW dealer AHG and included the Procar-style bodykit, a custom BMW Motorsport livery and those brilliant 16-inch BBS wheels.
It also meant a power increase, with the 3.5-litre straight-six now putting out around 350bhp, and a custom exhaust presumably sounding like absolute heaven.
That interior is stunning in its functionality too, with leather seats, a five-speed manual box and a Blaupunkt cassette player. Lovely.
The current owner has apparently only put 50 miles on this thing, and the M1 only has 4,200 miles on its clock in total after 40 years on this earth. How much do we reckon it’ll go for folks?
