Hold up, Michael Jordan’s actual S600 Coupe is on eBay

Please say you’ve watched The Last Dance by now? What did you even do during lockdown if you haven’t? Netflix’s ridiculously interesting Michael Jordan documentary got us all into basketball and reminded everyone just how cool the late Eighties and Nineties were.

Of course, as well as getting a bit too excited about MJ’s buzzer beaters, we were also rather smitten with his rather obvious penchant for cars. Anyone else spot the white 911 Turbo Slant Nose Cabriolet? What a thing.

Also making an appearance on the documentary was the above – a Lorinser-tuned, MJ-owned, V12-engined Mercedes S600 Coupe that’s now up for sale on eBay. The things you find on that site, sheesh.

The lovely C140 has been listed by Beverly Hills Car Club and at the time of writing has a top bid of $201,100. Of course, having been bought by the greatest basketballer of all time, this particular S600 was highly specced from the factory. Power up the car phone and Jordan’s name pops up on the dash.

Not content with the standard S600, Jordan turned to German tuner Lorinser for chrome wheels and an upgrade to that lovely 6.0-litre V12 to push it above the 400bhp mark.
