Cute! It’s a £26k restomod Fiat Panda 4x4
Niels van Roij Design has unveiled this one-off Panda to celebrate the 4x4’s 40th anniversary
Well, this is a restomod idea that we can get behind. Instead of yet another multi-million pound Porsche 911, Niels van Roij Design has teamed up with Dutch classic car dealer Kaeve Cars to restore this wonderful little Fiat Panda 4x4. And the best bit? The finished product is a one-off that’s up for sale for just £26,000. That’s one heck of a bargain in the restomod world.
The little Panda started life as a 4x4 Sisley hence the canoe graphics, but it’s now been rather aptly christened the Panda 4x4 Piccolo Lusso (Little Luxury). And that interior genuinely does look rather luxurious. There’s leather everywhere and cloth in the important bits of the seats, and we’re told that the colours are “a nod to the vibrant brown hues reminiscent of Mediterranean architecture”.
The exterior has been worked on too. Everything that was left unpainted on the original car is now smartened up and finished in Azzurro Blu to pay homage to the Italian Mediterranean Sea. There’s more boat-like action in the boot too with some interesting teak decking.
It is a very sweet little thing isn’t it? What a way to celebrate the Panda 4x4’s 40th birthday.
