Cute! Check out this brood of Bugatti Baby IIs celebrating 100 years of the Type 35

Heart eyes emoji at the ready: check out this stunning line-up of six shrunken Bugatti Baby II Type 35 Centenary Editions.

Meticulously handcrafted and built to a 75 per cent scale, these limited edition specimens are a reimagining (and no doubt more expensive) version of Little Car Company's £55k, fully electric toy car.

Infused with a pinch of automotive history, each Centenary Edition has its own unique power output and we’re told the LCC has even gone to the bother of aligning the Baby II chassis numbers to match those of the original six Type 35 race cars. That's a lovely touch.

A hundred years ago, five Bugatti Type 35s made their racing debuts at the 1924 Lyon GP and a sixth - the original prototype - was held back for Ettore Bugatti himself. Over the following decade the car achieved more than 2,500 race victories and podium finishes, and Bugatti claims that makes it the most successful racing car of all time. Wow.

The white 'Centenary Edition' decals are hand-painted and offset the Lyon-blue, and each has lockwire detailing and custom louvres. There’s also a commemorative brass identification plate in the cockpit.

Unsurprisingly, all six have already sold to the keenest private collectors on the planet. No chance of seeing them in the (actually real) Bugatti Baby II Championship, then?
