Renault Espace news - New Espace takes shape - 2006

In a bold move to update the Espace, Renault has attached the word 'New' to the beginning of the MPV's name.

From henceforth, the Espace will now be known as the New Espace 2006. Kinda catchy, don't ya think?

If you can spot the skin-deep differences, then you probably helped design the New Espace 2006, or as we like to call it, the Espace.

Underneath, there is something more involved in the form of a new 175bhp, 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine, while the 3.0 V6 turbodiesel gains the option of a six-speed automatic gearbox.

The Espace arrives at the start of April with prices ranging from £19,700 to £35,580.
