Question of the Week: where do you stand on restomods - a good thing, or unnecessary?
Do you agree with Koenigsegg, or reckon it's a worthwhile endeavour? Let us know which side of the fence you sit on
Should restomods be a thing? It’s a big talking point in the car community right now, and in fairness, it was inevitable given how quick the rise has been. And, as with most things in said community, opinions have been divided.
Christian Von Koenigsegg is the latest to voice his, telling TopGear.com earlier this week: “I think it shows the lack of desirability within modern car space. It's like everyone is looking back to the good old days. And that I think is what disturbs me a bit. We should be able to create that feeling and emotion with who we are today and what we do today.”
A fair point? Yes, there’s a different restomodder emerging every other week these days, but what about the truly unique stuff? We’re talking Alfaholics GTA-R or Kimera EVO37. Is there a place for them in the world?
In our latest Question of the Week, we want to hear your say on the matter. Forge your arguments and post them in the comments section below, and we’ll pick out our favourite comments to form part of Friday’s results post.
This one should be interesting...
