Peugeot 307 news - Turbodiesel tune-up for Peugeot's 307 - 2006

Published: 17 Jan 2006

Following on from the Peugeot 307's mid-life nip and tuck comes an engine tone-up with a new 1.6-litre turbodiesel unit.

The 1.6 HDi 90 replaces the old 2.0 HDi 90 and has more mid-range torque, packing 159lb ft to the old motor's 151lb ft.

Fuel economy and emissions are also more attractive than the old engine's - the 1.6 unit returns 57.6mpg and puts out 129g/km of carbon dioxide.

The 1.6 turbodiesel comes in all of the usual 307 body styles, and prices start at £13,300 for a five-door model.
