New pic of the Kia Track’ster

Published: 06 Feb 2012

Kia has continued its curious war on the apostrophe with a new weapon: meet the Track'ster.

It's based on the Soul, Kia's "rebellious, individual and urban" Ford Fiesta-sized mini SUV, and is intended to be its ultimate sporting manifestation.

The Track'ster, named for reasons we don't understand, is being built ready to go on show at this week's Chicago motor show, designed at the same California Studio as the Soul'ster convertible concept - currently undergoing final assessment for production - and the Soul itself.

And aside from the image you see above (and below), all we know is Kia ‘envisages' a 247bhp petrol engine to power the apostrophe renegade. We'll know more once the show starts, but it seems quite a few of you are impressed with the normal Soul: 102,000 were sold in the US alone last year.
