This is the new Lotus Evora GT410

Ah, the Lotus Evora. Just how many different versions of Norfolk’s premier GT car have there been now? Even since its facelift we’ve seen the 400, the 400 Hethel Edition, the Sport 410, the GT430 and the GT430 Sport all come and go.

If you wanted one recently, however, your only option was the GT410 Sport. Handily, Lotus has fixed this with a BRAND-NEW MODEL. Said model has been inventively called the GT410, and it now comes with... “door trims that feature integrated arm rests and storage bins for greater comfort and practicality". That is luxury, people.

Of course, the GT410 is just a new trim level rather than a whole new Evora, and it’s one that makes perfect sense. Lotus says it’s designed to be a more usable daily driver than the Sport.

It’s also a hefty £3,000 less than the Sport, but keeps the same 410bhp 3.5-litre supercharged V6 and 186mph top speed. Impressively, it’s also the same weight as the Sport at 1,361kg, despite getting air-con, Sparco sports seats, a reversing camera and a ‘premium infotainment system’ as standard. Don’t forget those arm rests either, Lotus wants you to remember the arm rests.

The GT410 also comes with a revised suspension setup for a slightly softer ride, and a new rear tailgate with more glass for better visibility. Like the Sport, though, it’s available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic gearbox. Great news.

The price? Well, it’s £82,900. That may seem like a lot, but remember the arm rests people…
