What should replace the Japanese Grand Prix?

October’s F1 race in Japan has been cancelled due to rising Covid cases

The Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka has been cancelled for the second year in a row due to rising Covid cases in the country. So, what should F1 bosses replace it with on the calendar? 

Suggestions in the comments section below please folks – and the more exciting the better. Australia, China, Canada and Singapore have all been chalked off already, remember, and Suzuka was scheduled for 8-10 October. Rainy UK-based race, anyone?

There’s still a spare spot on the calendar towards the end of November too, although an F1 statement read: "Formula 1 is now working on the details of the revised calendar and will announce the final details in the coming weeks.

"Formula 1 has proven this year, and in 2020, that we can adapt and find solutions to the ongoing uncertainties and is excited by the level of interest in locations to host Formula 1 events this year and beyond."
